L’Argent De Poche (PG) 1976

Our next screening of the 2024-25 Season is François Truffaut’s semi autobiographical film L’Argent De Poche, “Small Change” or “Pocket Money”. It was one of Truffaut’s most commercially successful films, featuring tales of childhood innocence and awakenings amongst school children set in 1976.

Malvern is proud to be recognised as a regional centre for French Cinema by the Institut Francais du Royaume Uni, in the shape of The Malvern French Film Centre. The MFFC shows monthly French films from September to June each year and runs a themed six-film Weekend Film Festival each April. All films are shown with English subtitiles. Screenings are shown in Studio One at The Malvern Theatres Studio One, Grange Road, Malvern, WR14 3HB.

Tickets can be booked via the Malvern Theatres box office (01684 892277) in person or online or bought on the day subject to availability.
Tickets costs £7, and no extra booking fee will be charged. Tickets for our April weekend film festival are offered at £6 per film if booking three films or more (please book direct with the box office, offer not available when booking online). Seating is unreserved and all films are shown with English subtitles.
