Our next film of the 2024-25 Season is François Truffaut’s semi autobiographical L’Argent De Poche, “Small Change” or “Pocket Money”. It is one of his most commercially successful films, featuring tales of childhood innocence and awakenings amongst school children set in 1976. Its main characaters are a motherless boy and his friend who is abused at home by his mother and grandmother. Interwoven with their peers’ stories they are at the heart of the film that cries out its theme of the need to be loved.

Booking Information

MFFC films are shown monthly on a Sunday in Malvern Theatres’ Studio One. Tickets can be booked via their box office, in person or online or bought on the day. Please see www.malvern-theatres.co.uk for the latest information. Tickets costs £7, and no extra booking fee will be charged.  Tickets for our weekend film festival are offered at £6 per film if booking three films or more. Seating is unreserved and all films are shown with English subtitles.
